So how much weight did you lose? 10 pounds? 20 pounds? 30 pounds? Excellent! But you’ll still need to keep working to keep it off. It’s really easy to slack off and start to regain that weight that you worked off, but you don’t have to if you truly don’t want to.
Let me give you some tips that are good for keeping off the weight.
They’re easy and effective, so there’s no reason for you to regain that weight that you worked so hard to remove!
Tip #1 – To keep the weight off, lose the high fat foods!
I know, I know. You want to reward yourself a bit for all of the weight that you have lost, but this is one of the easiest ways to regain that weight. Stick with the foods that helped you lose weight, not the ones that didn’t.
Tip #2 – Overhaul your recipes to keep the weight off!
You don’t have to give up your favorite recipes, but you can adjust them to your new weight loss lifestyle. Anything that can be replaced with low fat ingredients or sugar substitues should be changed to low fat, low sugar. It’s that simple!
Tip #3 – Eat small, eat often, and the weight will stay off!
Remember, you still need to eat, but continue to eat small portions several times during the day. This helps you to not be hungry and keeps your metabolism high!
Tips #4 – Keep a food journal, to assist keeping the weight staying off
Be sure to write down what you eat and when you eat it. This will help you to monitor your eating habits. Review this at least once a week to make sure that you’re still on the right track!
Tip #5 – Keep up the exercise routine to keep off the weight
Remember, you still need to exercise and you need to plan your exercise and exercise your plan!

Don’t allow yourself to become stressed. Stress is one of the worst triggers of weight gain known to mankind. Stay relaxed, stay focused… stay thin!
Tip #8 – Understanding nutrition helps you to stop the weight from coming back
Learn as much as you can about nutrition. The more you know, the easier it will be for you understand the effects of what you’re eating and that will help you to make the best food choices to keep your weight off.
Tip #9 – Weigh the right way – daily - to keep the weight off and under control!
Be sure to weigh yourself daily so that you’ll know if you’re gaining back the weight that you worked so hard to remove. This is the best way to know if there are any changes in your weight. This is different to losing weight, where weekly weighings may be more appropriate. In keeping the weight off, we are trying to become aware that a problem with our weight is happening, before it becomes an issue for us.
Tip #10 – Last but not least, avoid the rut, that may lead you to weight gain.
You can make your weight loss efforts exciting simply by making changes to your eating habits or even your exercise routines. Change up all of your normal routines on a regular basis to shock your body into continual weight loss. It’s easy to do and, most of all, fun!
